You’re invited to the Baldwin City Wedding Walk, July 14, 2018, 10am-4pm!
Are you or someone you know getting married soon? You should absolutely visit the Baldwin City Wedding Walk, from 10am to 4pm on July 14th! Spend a fun day with your wedding party and come away inspired.
Enjoy treats and giveaways as you peruse vendor booths and local businesses, meeting friendly folks with personalized products and services. Plus, enter to win a grand prize basket worth over $1,000 (and still growing!).
You can spend the day, or a couple of hours, and learn what Baldwin City has to offer – from sweet, intimate ceremonies to splashy-artsy fun to old-fashioned and historical. Maybe even a smaller-scale royal wedding…?
Well, Baldwin City does have an authentic English Chapel! Originally built in Sproxton England in 1864, the chapel was moved to Baker University campus and dedicated in 1996 by Lady Margaret Thatcher, former British prime minister, whose father had preached in the building. How’s that for unique and charming!
Baldwin City also boasts Gothic, cathedral-like First United Methodist Church; the nostalgic 1940’s Kansas Belle Dinner Train; and the industrial but elegant Lumberyard Arts Center, as well as charming lodging options at Three Sisters Inn Bed and Breakfast, the Lodge, and Rooms2Stay (visit Rooms2Stay during the Wedding Walk and sample their breakfasts including avocado deviled eggs–yum!).
Come find out what’s possible. The Wedding Walk is a free event, so bring your wedding party and make it a fun outing! Free and no tickets needed.
